Impression Fabrics for the Belting Industry

Impression fabrics are used to emboss the belt surface; therefore, they must be of superior quality. Any surface irregularity in the fabric will result in a defect on the finished belt.

Our extensive range covers thicknesses from 0.15 mm (75 g/m²) up to 8 mm (approx. 3500 g/m²). The adjacent image illustrates a fabric used for embossing 'Supergrip' belts.

Fabrics for Supergrip belts

De Amtex manufactures a variety of impression fabrics, primarily utilizing high-grade Polyamide 6.6, specifically designed for embossing 'Supergrip' belts.

The adjacent images provide examples of both the raw fabric and the finished Supergrip belt.

These specialized belts are widely used in the paper and printing industries, as well as in timing belt applications.

Silicone-Coated Fabrics

De Amtex manufactures impression fabrics for a variety of specialized applications. Constructed from Polyamide 6.6, these fabrics are typically treated to enhance their release properties. This treatment prevents the fabric from bonding during the embossing process, thereby extending its service life and reducing the overall cost-per-cycle.

The adjacent image displays a fabric coated with pink silicone. Our range starts at a thickness of 0.15 mm with an areal weight of 75 g/m².
